What is Bodhi Meditation?
Bodhi Meditation was founded in 1991 as a non-profit organization whose mission is to impart practical, effective meditation techniques as a way of strengthening the energy of the physical body, and to inspire the spiritual mind so as to bring greater health and joy to the world at large. Since then, Bodhi Meditation has established centers in Canada, the United States, UK, Sweden, Romania, Australia, Taiwan, Hong Kong, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Myanmar.

Visualize Yourself to Health
Bodhi Meditation’s meditation methods use guided imagery via video or audio. Instead of trying to follow your breath and getting lost in distraction, we channel your brain’s natural desire to work to visualize powerful imagery that will help you tap into positive energy and keep you focused. Instead of allowing your brain to run its natural course of cyclical and negative thinking, visualize yourself to health by tapping into your body-mind connection and using positive imagery to activate your body’s self-rejuvenation and vitalization mechanisms.

It’s Not Boring Ol’ Meditation
Meditation doesn’t just mean sitting on a cushion, breathing in and out, following one’s breath trying to find that inner zen. Can’t sit still? Get distracted quickly? It’s time to say bye to distraction on the cushion and try Bodhi Meditation, whose techniques are diverse. Energy Bagua is a walking meditation in which you walk meditatively around a tree. Meditation of Greater Illumination (GI) is a standing meditation. Meditation of Purity is a sitting meditation. Chanting is a sound meditation. Prostration is a movement meditation. Finally, energy healing encompasses elements of sound and energy healing. There’s bound to be a method that fits your meditative needs.

Bodhi Meditation doesn’t just want to be a compassionate place where you come to meditate. We want to be your tribe, your community, the place and people you come to when you need love, kindness, and non-judgment. It is a home, a sanctuary, a psychotherapist’s couch, a social hub, and a community center rolled into one. We have daily FREE group sessions to help you succeed in community. Like gym buddies but better, we are here to lend an ear, a helping hand, or anything in between regarding meditation or anything else going on in your life.
